Proiektuak, testuinguru garaikide batean, 1904ko eraikin batean kokatutako etxebizitzaren historia eta esentzia berrikusten ditu, zurezko egitura, harrizko eta adreiluzko hormak eta kontraleihoak bezalako jatorrizko elementu batzuk berreskuratuz, bikote gazte batek eta bere bi seme-alaba txikiek osatutako familiarentzako etxea sortzeko asmoarekin, eraldatzen dugun bitartean iragana ospatuz, aurretik zegoena narratiba estetiko eta funtzional berri baterako mihise gisa erabiltzen duen berrinterpretazio sortzaile baten bidez.

Koloreak eta materialek erabilera desberdinen bidez gidatzen gaituen hizkuntza bat sortzen dute. Zeramikazko zokalo batek etxe osoa zeharkatzen du espazioak elkartuz, eta material berak zorua eta neurrira egindako altzariak osatzen ditu, giro atsegina sortzeko, non bi materialek bakarrik esku hartzen duten, zeramikak eta zurak.
Akaberak, koloreak eta formak ikuspegi ludiko batetik jorratzen dira, ia jolasaren ikuspegitik. Horrela, kolore-paleta eguzkiari, naturari, hondartzari erreferentzia eginez, etxearen orientazioari esker, argiarekin elkarrizketa bat lortuz, atmosfera beroa eta naturala.

El proyecto revisa, en un contexto contemporáneo, la historia y la esencia de la vivienda, ubicada en un edificio de 1904, rescatando algunos de sus elementos originales como la estructura de madera, las paredes de piedra y ladrillo y las contraventanas, con la intención de crear un hogar para la familia formada por una pareja joven y sus dos hijos pequeños, celebrando el pasado mientras lo transformamos, mediante una reinterpretación creativa que utiliza lo preexistente como lienzo para una nueva narrativa estética y funcional.
La luz y las formas se convierten en pilares fundamentales del proyecto, estableciendo una armonía visual que conecta cada espacio de la vivienda sin jerarquizarlo.
Se fomenta la continuidad y la fluidez entre espacios a través de formas curvas en el techo y muebles.
El color y los materiales generan un lenguaje que nos guía a través de los diferentes usos. Un zócalo cerámico recorre toda la casa uniendo los espacios y el mismo material conforma tanto el suelo como el mobiliario a medida para generar un ambiente acogedor en el que sólo intervienen dos materiales, la cerámica y la madera.
Los acabados, colores y formas se abordan desde una perspectiva lúdica, casi de juego. Así, la paleta de colores hace referencia al sol, la naturaleza, la playa, consiguiendo, gracias a la orientación de la casa, un diálogo con la luz que crea una atmósfera cálida y natural.
El apartamento se compone de una zona pública para cocinar, comer, leer, trabajar y vivir que se abre hacia la fachada más ruidosa del edificio, y de una zona privada, donde se ubican los tres dormitorios y los baños, que dan a la calle más tranquila y al patio de manzana.
La entrada al apartamento se realiza a través de un tramo de escaleras, lo que nos permite una perspectiva inusual de toda la casa, acentuado por la forma curva del techo.
Ya desde la entrada aparecen la cerámica y la madera como materiales principales del proyecto, madera de abeto que forma la escalera y continúa en el suelo, muebles y contraventanas a medida, y cerámica que genera un zócalo que recorre todo el perímetro de la vivienda y conforma las zonas destinadas a los baños y servicios.
Una gran mesa-mostrador articula el espacio cocina-comedor-sala, en el que la madera de abeto es protagonista con el amarillo-sol-playa como color protagonista. Un mueble a dos caras da servicio al dormitorio principal y a la cocina, mientras que el fregadero y el trabajo de cocina se realiza desde la mesa multitarea que preside el hogar.
Además del zócalo cerámico que recorre el perímetro de la casa, se genera un lenguaje para las paredes preexistentes en las que jugamos con el material de construcción, ladrillo y piedra, y con el revestimiento de yeso creando un dibujo que relacione visualmente todos los espacios.
Todos los espacios de la casa dan al exterior excepto el office y uno de los dormitorios que da a un patio de manzana muy luminoso. El aprovechar y el refuerzo de la iluminación natural es uno de los puntos que queríamos potenciar con la nueva distribución.
Nuestra intención ha sido crear un espacio en el que quieras vivir y disfrutar, un espacio que sea funcional pero sin perder el espíritu lúdico que nos brinda la alegría de vivir.

The project is a home for a family made up of a young couple and their young daughter and son.
It revisits, in a contemporary context, the history and essence of the house, located in a building
from 1904, by rescuing some of its original elements such the wooden structure, stone and brick
walls and window shutters.
It celebrates the past while transforming it into a creative reinterpretation, using the pre-existing as a canvas for a new aesthetic and functional narrative.
Light and shapes become fundamental pillars of the project, establishing a visual harmony that
connects each space without hierarchizing it.
Instead of setting boundaries, continuity and fluidity between spaces are encouraged through curved forms in the ceiling and furniture.
Color and materials generate a language that guides us through the different uses. A ceramic baseboard runs throughout the house to link the spaces and the same material makes up both floor and custom furniture to generate a cozy atmosphere in which only two materials intervene, ceramic and wood.
Finishes, colors, and shapes are approached from a playful, almost game-like perspective. Thus, the
entire color palette references the sun and nature, achieving, thanks to the orientation of the house, a
dialogue with light that creates a warm and natural atmosphere.
The apartment is made up of a public area for cooking, eating, reading, working and living that
opens towards the noisiest façade of the building, and private areas, where the three bedrooms and
bathrooms are located, facing the quietest street and the block patio.
The entrance to the apartment is through a flight of stairs, which allows us an unusual perspective
over the entire house, accentuated by the curved shape of the roof.
From the entrance it is clear that the main materials of this renovation are wood, which forms the staircase and continues on the floor, custom furniture and shutters, and ceramics that generates a plinth that runs along the entire perimeter of the home and forms the areas intended for bathrooms
and services.
A curved enclosure element that evokes the city's typical beach huts delimits the area destined for
one of the bathrooms and the office for which the green-nature-forest color is chosen.
The master bedroom has a built-in bathroom that is separated from the rest area by a lattice and is
dominated by a large bathtub on a ceramic base, in this case the tile-earth-sand color was chosen.
In both bathrooms, a ceramic rug is created in front of the sink. A large table-counter articulates the
kitchen-dining-living space, in which fir wood is the protagonist with yellow-sun-beach as its main
color. A large two-sided piece of furniture serves the master bedroom and the kitchen, while the sink
and kitchen work is carried out to the multitasking table that presides over the home. In addition to
the ceramic plinth that runs along the perimeter of the house, a language is generated for the preexisting walls in which we play with the construction material, brick and stone, and with the plaster coating to achieve a drawing that visually relates all the spaces.
All spaces in the house face the outside except the office and one of the bedrooms that faces a very
bright block patio. Taking advantage of and reinforcing natural lighting is one of the points that we wanted to reinforce with the new distribution.
Our intention has been to create a space that you want to live in and enjoy, a space that is functional but without losing the playful spirit.
